This is a letter to Samuel C Gray from N. N. Curtis dated 09/18/1881 regarding property of Samuel's Uncle in Texas. The letter talks about possibly selling 400 acres of land in Kinney County Texas (Central Texas West of San Antonio.). In a future letter Mr. Curtis does propse selling the 400 acres (2024.10.1.217) for about $1 per acre. That letter has more details about the Texas land.
The land is described as patent # 354 vol. 33 patented 12/12/1881. The Texas online land registry database has a record for this patent under the name of Searle. I don't see a reference to the sale of these 400 acres.Collection
