A handbill about a train robbery in Oregon on October 11th, 1923. The handbill describes in detail the suspects and suggests how various business can help apprehend the criminals. During the robbery four railroad employees were killed. The three brothers escaped but in trying to blow open the mailcar they killed the attendant and ended up with no money from the attempt. They were later caught using early forensic science methods.
Inside is written the name Walter Sparks. This is probably the donor.Collection
