Description

"Indian" Chief headdress from the Redmen's Organization in Benicia; used in their rituals; made from felt, multi-colored beading, and feathers in colors of red, green, white, brown, and yellow; the 30 feathers are mostly 16" long and attached to a round, soft leather cap; there are round beaded medallions on each side with 11" long loops of small beads hanging down; there are no markings on the inside.
