Separate Index to Book G (1986.10.269) See Below. The separate index repeats some entries that are in the index at the front of Ledger Book G. size 9-1/2"W x 14-1/2"H x 3/16"Deep - the cover is heavy paper with varying shades of brown in a mottled design. Per Inventory Work Sheet dated 4/29/1992: This ledger and loose index contain deeds and mortgages recorded in handwriting from May 1850 through November 1850 rearding land ownership filed in Benicia for the year 1850. The last entry concerns property being sold by John Broadman of Lahania Island of Maui (Hawaii) and giving power to his attorney to sell property [in Benicia Lot No.5 - Block No.7 and Lot No.15 - Block No.40].
