Scope and Content

1850 Delinquent Tax Book for Solano County and City of Benicia for years 1854 - 55. It has columns for "To Whom Assessed" / value / "improvements Pr. Prop. / Delinquent tax 1854 / Delinquent tax 1855 / total tax for 1854 & 1855 / remarks. Starting on page 18 they show Benicia City lots and add two columns for "lot" and "block". The first 17 pages are for Solano county land usually consisting of large ranches. Starting on page 70 it shows Personal Property and Improvements by name. On page 83 it shows "Recapitulation Addition Delinquent List" by page.
