Scope and Content

This is a listing by classroom of books that individual students have read over the years 1899 to 1911. The library books have numbers and they are listed next to the name of the student that checked out the book. It appears that when the book is returned, the number is crossed out. The number of books read is totaled in the right hand column by student and then a grand total. The stamp in the front and back of the book is "Department of Public Instruction" / "State of California" / "Benicia District Library" / "Solano County"
