Scope and Content

This is an account book from Benicia Market (meat market) owned by Walter G. Wassmann. The book contains purchases and amounts with a page for each customer. Customers include Mayor Crooks, C.J. Rahill, Mrs. Vaughn, Enos, Palace Hotel, Joseph Malone, Union Hotel. Lamb, Anderson House, Ed Higgins, Freitas, Benicia Restaurant, just to name a few. Most entries don't show the year just month and day. The couple of places where year is mentioned show 1910/1911/1920. This book must have been used for many years.
