Duplicate Assessent Book State of California, for the Fiscal Year 1879-80 Loose ledger pages numbers 6-81 (missing 1-5 includes A & B) Alphabetically lists names of property owners and amounts of assessments. On the back of page 81: I Chas. Spalding, Clerk of the Board of Trustees of the City of Benicia, so swear, that I received the Assessment Book of the taxable property of the City of Benicia from the Board of Trustees, with the affidavit of the City Assessor thereto affixed; and that I have reckoned the respective summs due as taxes, and have added up the columns of valuation and taxes as required by law; and that the copy to which this affidavit is affixed, is a full, true and correct copy thereof.
