This is a ledger from 1851 of the lots in Benicia. It was compiled by Stephen Cooper who was the Solano County Assessor at the time. It was filed by Saisbul Bynum who was the Solano County Clerk. Pasted in the front is a 2 page letter from Stephen Cooper of "additional Tax List". It contains information about Baysi, I. Long & Co., and Richmond I.

The first lot is #1 on block "Semple's Slip". It was owned by Hayden & Mudgo and valued at $1,000 with $2,000 value of improvements.
The last lot is lot #16 in block Little's Point. It is owned by Thomas Larkin and valued at $600.
