Scope and Content

This is a ledger showing lots in Benicia that were sold for delinquent taxes by the City Marshall. The City Marshall was Beeby Robinson in 1851. The first such sale listed in the ledger is for 28 lots sold to S.C. Gray. He paid $188.15 for the property. It seems that some pages are missing. The page numbers jump from page 77 to page 80 and then again from page 80 to page 90. Also, there are two page 27's.
