Ledger

The image depicts a page from a historical land transfer ledger book featuring handwritten text in a cursive script, likely from the 19th century. The document outlines the transfer of land ownership or rights from one party to another, mentioning specific names and conditions involved in the transaction. The content includes details about payments, interests, and obligations, stipulating financial figures and legal agreements. The handwriting is neat but ornate, characteristic of legal documents from the past, and the paper shows signs of aging with a yellowed tint. The page is numbered at the top right, indicating it is part of a larger volume.
