Pair of green canvas leg coverings that lace up with hooks on one side and eyelets on the other; strap buckles under the foot; These were worn by Vern Estey in WWII.
U.S. Army issue to donor at Camp Roberts in 1941.
Leggings were used in WWII to save leather used in long boots. Shorter boots were used with less leather and the leggings covered past the top of boot to keep debris from entering boot.Collection
