Letter - A copy of a letter sent to Mr. Sheldon Rankin / 1943 Dora Street / Walnut Creek regarding a donation he made to the library of the University of California, Berkeley dated 20 July 1961 from Mrs. Helen C. Brenner / Head Gift Division / Acquisition Department; The items which went to the Bancroft Library were School Board Minutes and the GAR Benicia Hartranft (sic) Post seal; it is unknown which school district the board minutes were from since Mr. Rankin worked at the Walnut Creek School Distrist while his brother Raymund was on the Benicia Unified School District Board of Trustee and his father Walter could also have had access to old school board minutes. 5-3/4" x 8-1/2"
