This is a response dated March 19, 1858 to the previous letter (2019.021.0037). It transmits a map of the Arsenal grounds and on the map lays out the property transfers between the Ordnance and Quartermaster. The letter says that the Ordnance gains a piece of property that can be used for a large storehouse. This could be the Clock tower property as it was constructed about this time. The original proposal is detailed in the letter in 2019.021.0045.
The other part of the exchange is to move the barracks. This is thought to not be a very expensive task.Collection
