This is a District Court letter from Jos P. Vaughn to John B. Stickney regarding posession and occupation of a plot of land.
The letter reads: "John B. Strickney having applied to me to know whether I am in possesson and occupation of Lot number Six-teen in Block Number Twenty in the City of Benicia in Solano County, together with the buildings thereon. I hereby admit that I am in possession and occupation of said lot of land, buildings and premises. Benicia April 15, 1854 Jos. P. Vaughn."
