Letter reads:
To Thomas Brown and Arthur Strong and all other persons interested or concerned.
Take notice that I have filed in the Recorders office of Solano County California a lien on a building and lot of land on which said building stands with the land around said building not exceeding five hundred square feet supposed to be situated on Lot No. 3 Blcok 23 in the City of Benicia. For work and labor done and materials furnished for said building for the sum of fourteen hundred and twenty-four dollars or balance of second which is now due for said work labor and materials said work and labor having been completed and materials furnished within the last sixty days.
