Photocopy, cut off, "Benicia Febrero 27 de 1851, Querida hermana Adele...Tu hermano Andronico Vallejo." Stamp on back "0 0309" Donor was the wife of the grandson of Mariano Vallejo. The black and white image shows a handwritten letter dated February 27, 1881, from Benicia. The letter is addressed to "Dear Brother Adela" and written in Spanish. The writer, whose signature appears as Andrónico Vallejo, expresses that since leaving their location, they have not stayed still but are gradually feeling better, lifting their spirits.
