Letter to Jack O'Grady from Law Offices of Bradley and Millon, Vallejo CA. Letter dated 04/05/1960. The person writting the letter is John F Baldwin of the House of Representatives, Wash DC. He is asking that Mr John J Cocco be considered for the post of Postmaster when the current Postmistress retires. Mr Bradley argues against the practice of necessarily promoting an assistant to the vacated position. His argument is: While I am not against the female sex being appointed to high governmental positions, I do believe that such practice should be eliminated if they are married and have the ability to be supported by their husbands.
