Scope and Content

This is a map of the Benicia City Cemetery drawn by Betty Pellinen, City Clerk. The legend says it was done as the official map of the City of Benicia by Resolution on a certain date, but the date field is blank. The mayor was James Lemos. The map is on waxed parchment paper and shows all of the gravesites in the cemetery and which are available. Only a few graves are identified by family in the upper section of the cemetery.
