These three are copies and photostatic copies of a Benicia survey circa 1850 copied from the Thomas O Larkin's Private Record of Lots Sold from 1847-1851. The photostat reproductions copied in March 1950 from the Bancroft Library, University of California Berkeley. These three are 12" x 15" although the copy of the photostatic copy is on larger stock.
Notice the precise penmanship of the numerals.
This is included in a collection of letters and documents for a forthcoming book published in 1950. Mr Wohlgemuth was contributing chapters to a four volume history of Free Masonry in California which was published in 1950. He was researching Dr. Robert Semple and events of that era. The volumes are available for reference in the Benicia Public Library.Collection
