Brass star marker, GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) grave marker.
This grave marker was placed on graves of the union army. It was manufactured during the Civil War, 1861 thru 1865. It is inscribed with GAR Post 4 on front. On the back is Trenton Emblem Co., Trenton, N.J. The emblem itself is 6 1/4" in length and 7" in width. The rod is 24" in height.Collection
