This is a matchbook from the Pastime Club in Benicia. It was where the Rellik Tavern is now on First Street. It was opened in 1993 and sold about 2009. One reason it went out of business was that it lost it's card room license. Here's what was reported in the local paper:

BENICIA - In a decision that seems to end legal gambling in the city, a judge has ruled that Benicia had the authority to deny a permit for its last remaining card room.
The Solano County Superior Court ruling Wednesday ruling dealt the last hand in a dispute that began early last year when the City Council rejected the Pastime bar's card room application.
The Pastime's permit had expired two years earlier and, through a clerical error, was not renewed. Now, the city does not permit new card room licenses.
But owners Vernon and Mona Lemings, who held licenses from 1995 through 2006, argued they were entitled to a new permit because of the clerical error.
The Pastime reopened under new ownership in 2009 as the Rellik Tavern. The new owners have remodeled the First Street space, added live music, wireless Internet access and a morning coffee shop.Collection
