Medal (black) - says "Conselho Flor da Patria" No. 18 U.P.E.C Benicia Cal. Unido Portuguesa do Estado California (United Portuguese of the United States). There is a metal and ceramic badge for the UPEC hanging from the top bar. There is also a sword hanging down and the badge on the top says "Guarda Externo".
