This is a brass nail used in shipbuilding. It is a cut nail called a Rosehead flat point nail. It is called Rosehead because of the pyramid shape on top of the nail. This nail is about 7.5 inches (200mm) long, .5 inches (10mm) wide shaft, and .75 inches (20mm) at the head. There is a "10" stamped on the shaft to indicate the size of the shaft.Collection
