Description

A pier with planks of wood all around and the same boat from 2004.001.0406-407 is in the distance. This photo shows the San Francisco Bridge Company doing work off the Benicia railroad yard. This probably was in 1931 when the city contracted to have the slips of the Southern Pacific Company dismantled and to clear the waterfront of all piling pertaining to the ferry boats.
