Nine baseball players in various uniforms. Some say "J.E. Glendon" some say "Crolona JR" and one says "UNAICI". There was a merchant in Benicia in 1908-1909 by the name of J.E. Glendon who was also a Solano County Supervisor. He may have sponsored these players.
Per the 1912 Benicia High School yearbook this is the Benicia High School baseball team. This photo was taken by John Molfino for the yearbook. The players are: Udo Witt, Clarence Greaver, Tony Duarte, Herbert Elson, Phil Martin, Frank Hansen, George Castle, William McClain, and Earl Harrington. Attached is a copy of the page from the 1912 yearbook showing the players identified.Collection
