One of the negatives found in an envelope with the notation "Singler Collection" on the outside. These negatives may have been taken by Singler or he acquired them from another photographer. Some of the negatives have notaions written on them similar to what would be done if they were being made into a postcard. At one time Mr. Stumm may have used them to produce his local postcards.
This negative is of the ferry Solano on the straits. It has a printed caption which says "S.P.S.S. Solano the Largest ferry boat in the World Leaving Port Costa for Benicia Cal." It also has the phrase "hand colored". This negative was used for making a post card.Collection
