These negatives were in an envelope marked "Arsenal" and with a note asking for a 5x7" enlargement at the rate of $.35 each for seven enlargements. There is also a stamp on the front from Frank J. Stumm Publisher Benicia, California. Frank Stumm was the jeweler who published a number of postcards of the region during the early 1900s. These may be negatives from John Molfino that were considered for publishing as postcards by Stumm.
This photo shows a photograph of a house being moved. Harry Wassmann has a note with this same photo in 2017.030.00832 saying that the house is at First and "G" street and is being moved to "the other side of the dwelling, also seen in the photo". Harry raises the possibility that this may have been a Custom's house and/or telegraph office but he says he has no proof. Harry says that people by the name of Perry lived in this house during Harry's life. The house being moved was finally demolished and James Lemos built his house on the lot.Collection
