Description

These negatives were in an envelope marked "Arsenal" and with a note asking for a 5x7" enlargement at the rate of $.35 each for seven enlargements. There is also a stamp on the front from Frank J. Stumm Publisher Benicia, California. Frank Stumm was the jeweler who published a number of postcards of the region during the early 1900s. These may be negatives from John Molfino that were considered for publishing as postcards by Stumm. This photo shows the Benicia train station. It looks like people are waiting for a ferry to arrive. There is a wagon carrying ice on the left, several other carts or wagons, a few automobiles and a wagon carrying containers of milk.
