This is a copy of the April 10, 1847 California Star newspaper. The California Star was the second newspaper started by Californians. It was published by Samuel Brannan and the editor was E.P. Jones. It contains a reply by Thomas O. Larkin to a letter written by Father Real. Most of the reply is written in Spanish.
