Scope and Content

This is a pamphlet for the Commemorative Luncheon on 05/02/1965 to commemerate the transfer of the Arsenal from military to civilian use. It was held in the Clock Tower and included telephonic congratulations from Robert McNamara, Secty. of Defense, Senators Thomas Kuchel and George Murphy and Congressman Robert Leggett. There is a brief history of how the Arsenal made the transition from its order to close on May 4, 1961 to the current date.
