One of a series of eleven pamphlets published by The Associated Oil Company and addressed to Mr.E. B McNear. Each piece is a 9"x24" folded stock with a full page photograph plus a facing page of explanatory verbage. Ten of which involve the building of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay Bridge Both bridges commenced contruction in 1933. The eleventh pamphlet is similiar but involves the Tacoma Narrows Bridge project.
The Associated Oil Company supplied the motor oils and lubricants used by the construction equipment.
Aerial photo 16,000 feet above San Francisco showing both finished bridges dated June 1, 1934. This is less than 18 months after the beginning of construction of both bridges.Collection
