One of a series of eleven pamphlets published by The Associated Oil Company and addressed to Mr.E. B McNear. Each piece is a 9"x24" folded stock with a full page photograph plus a facing page of explanatory verbage. Ten of which involve the building of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay Bridge Both bridges commenced contruction in 1933. The eleventh pamphlet is similiar but involves the Tacoma Narrows Bridge project.
The Associated Oil Company supplied the motor oils and lubricants used by the construction equipment.
The photo is an aerial view of the Golden Gate Bridge construction from the Marin Headlands showing both towers essentially completed plus the towers of the Bay Bridge and showing over a dozen Navy Ships steaming out the Bay
The facing page praises the Navy and describes the joy of the Bay views '...from every vantage-point...."Collection
