Post WWII Navy Trousers - Lower portion of a Navy Uniform - Hospital Corpsman, Petty officer Third Class dress blue uniform trousers.
Navy Blue Wood with front button closure; 13 buttons around three sides of flap and 2 buttons at waist band (one button is used by waist band and front flap); open pockets at waist on the right and left sides ; lacing at mid back - 14 eyelets for size adjustment, the lace is missing; wide straight pant legs.
Buttons are dark blue with pressed-in anchor symbols.
White label inside back of right front pocket reads: U.S. Navy 100% Wool, Name (blank) Service No. (blank). DA-36-243 QM (CTM) 3978, 01-1423-C-59, Size 33R. It also includes Cleaning Instructions and "Do Not Remove This Label" in capital letters.
A name was written on inside waist band in white ink but it is unreadable.Collection
