Parlor Gem Reed Pump Organ - late 1800's - dark brown wood
2015.001.0001A - main section - 43 white keys, 30 black keys, 11 stops w/pull knobs, pull down key cover, there is a carved strip across the front under the key section, on each side are "handles" and a strip of decorative molding, two pump pedals are at bottom center,
2015.001.0001B - upper section "hutch" - beveled mirror in center with two decorative panels on each side (gold painted flowers, leaves, flourishes), ridge above keys to hold a wooden easel (missing) on which would rest music sheets and books, the sides are curved and there are seven decorative knobs on each side, on each side next to the decorative panels is a spindle which supports the decorative top piece that is also carved across the front.Collection
