Sample brand and earmarkings for sheep on a piece of leather for Pat Miller, a true copy of the original filed October 17, 1865, is recorded in a Ledger of the Solano County Recorder 1855-1916. (page 75)
A partial copy of the original recording had been adhered to the back of the leather but is now detatched. The brand is a Christian Cross on the rump. The earmarkings are for both right and left ears and are indicated on a smaller piece of leather in the shape of a sheep's head.Collection
