Sample brand and earmarkings on two pieces of leather for Wm. A. J. Adam. A true copy is recorded on May 13, 1858, in the Ledger of the Solano County Recorder 1855-1916. (page 43)
No copy of the record is attached to the leather but some information is handwritten in ink on the back of the sample brand piece. The brand is "3 0" and placed on the left hip. The earmarkings are indicated on a piece of leather shaped like a cow's head. The pieces are connected with twine. The small piece is thick and the large piece is thinner and soft .Collection
