Sample brand and earmarkings on a piece of leather for Landy Alford registered on July 9, 1859, as written in a Ledger of Solano County Recorder 1855-1916 (page 60).
A copy of the registration was adhered to the back of the piece of leather, however all but a tiny part of the lower right corner is missing. The brand is a capital A and capital F attached by the right side of the A and the left side of the F but the placement is not noted.Collection
