Sample ear marking and brand on leather for John Harding, July 28, 1858, is not recorded in a Ledger of the Solano County Recorder 1855-1916.
No copy of a recording is adhered to the leather. There is information handprinted in ink: "John Harding, Filed July 28th 1858". It is two pieced of ear shaped leather attached with a rawhide cord. There is a 5/8 inch hole in the middle of each. The brand is stamped on one of the pieces.Collection
