Petition (or application) for entry to the Order of the Rainbow for Girls. "The Petitioner respectfully represents that she freely offers herself as a candidate for the degrees in the Order of the Rainbow for Girls; that she has a favorable impression of the Order and if elected to membership therein promises strict obedience to the Supreme Assembly, its Constitution and Satutes and a cheerful compliance to the By-Laws, Rules and Regulatins of the Assembly to whom she makes the pettion. She is a believer in the one true and living God." Information: Born in Benicia on 10 September 1929 and is 14 years old at the time of application; address is 149 East L Street; she is a member of the Benicia Congregational Church; her parents are Protestant; she is a friend of Eunice Jensen who has recommended her and is signed by Marjorie Mae Stoner and Mrs. Jensen. A fee of $5.00 was to accompany the Petition. There are items to be completed on the back but the only one with a date is Degree conferred (accepted) 1944. Black ink on blue paper.
