Description

This Edison Phonograph was made circa 1903. It is a metal phonograph in an oak-like wooden case. The following inscription is on a metal plate on the phonograph. It is manufactured under the patents of Thomas A. Edison, et als, at Orange, N.J., U.S.A. May 8, 1888 through November 17, 1903. "This machine is sold upon the condition that it is licensed to be used or vended only so long as this serial number H215765 is not removed or changed in whole or in part and that every possessor of this machine admits the validity of the above enumerated patents." Comes with oak rounded-top cover. It is 10" in height, length 16", and width 9".
