This is a photograph of a group of men lined up in front of a shelter. There are two old cars behind them and a sign pointing to the Martinez ferry. The man in the middle is Benicia Mayor Crooks (light colored suit with a cigar in his right hand extended.
Written on the bottom is the date 11/10/1914 and the name "J.L. Mo'". This probably refers to John Lawrence Molfino. We have the glass plate negattive of this same image.Collection
