This is a photograph of the grave of Walter Anderson (1883-1916) in the Benicia City cemetery. His family owned the Anderson Hotel in Benicia.
There is an Anderson family in Benicia in the 1900 and 1910 census. In 1900 Pete (1846) is a deck hand (steemer) married to Amelia (1850) with Albina (1881) Walter (1883) Edmund (1884) and Florence (1886). In the 1910 census Pete and Emelia are living with Albina in a large boarding house on West F street in Benicia.Collection
