This is a photo of the Benicia fire department taken in a photographer's studio. They are show in uniform and the men on the floor have part of a fire hose and a megaphone. There are trophies in the center which is probably the reason for the photograph. Could be from a fireman competition (muster).

Frank Wassmann is the last man on the right in the back row.
"Yoki" Joseph is the first one on the left in the front row.
Joe Diaz is the third one from the left in the first row.
Frank Wassmann was born in Oregon 01/31/1883. His parents moved to Benicia in 1892. Frank was a successful plumber in Benicia for many years. He married Jennie E. Mellon who was from a local pioneer family.
Joseph Diaz was born 12/24/1882 in California of Manuel R Diaz and Mary A DeGloria. He lived on East "G" st in Benicia and died 04/29/1953.Collection
