A portrait of John Murray Goodyear (1881-1957) and Edward Andrew Goodyear (1883-1955). The photo was taken by the Theo C Marceau "Fotografer" studio at 826 Market St in San Francisco.
They are the children of Clay Goodyear(1858-1914) and Melinda Tate Wolfskill(1860-1929). They were born in Winters, Yolo county, California. The Curtis family tree shows Henry Clay Goodyear (1858 - 1914) as the son of Andrew Goodyear (1819-1892) and Cynthia Vaughn Goodyear (1835-1904). Andrew Goodyear was a brother to Miles Morris Goodyear, an early Benicia property owner, and the son of Andrew (1784-1819) and Patty (1782-1821) Goodyear.
Clay's father, Andrew, had a ranch outside of Benicia and built the mansion-like home at East 5th and "O" st.Collection
