Benicia class photo taken in the 1900s. The photo was taken next to the school (not sure which Benicia school). There is an American flag behind the children. The flag looks like either a 45 or 46 star flag. The difference is that one star was added to the 46 star flag in the fourth row from the top making it an 8 star row rather than a 7 star row. I think this flag has 7 stars in the fourth row making it a 45 start flag from 1896 to 1907. (This same flag is also in the record 2017.099.0011 and can clearly be seen as a 45 star flag.)Collection
