B/W photo on a postcard of the Matthew Turner Shipyard with 4-masted schooner Amaranth at the dock. On Back: Benicia Historical Society Matthew Turner's Shipyard opened in 1883. Turner's shipyard turned out some of the finest ships of its day, including the Lurlne and Galilee. The yard, located a the end of West 9th Street, built over two hundred and forty ships. size: 3-1/2" length x 5-1/2" width
