B/W photograph (possibly a postcard) framed in black under glass. (Removed from frame 12/11/2012. RRK) It is a scene of Benicia looking westward towards the straits and hills across the straits. It shows fields and fences in the vicinity of East 5th or 6th street. The Benicia Public school building on East Third can be seen in the middle right of the photograph. The caption at the lower edge of the card reads: "Benicia, Calif. and the Straits of Carquinez". Also printed in the lower left on the picture is "Publ. for J. C. Clayworth Benicia, Calif." On the right bottom is "FJS No. 402 or 407". These are Frank J Stumm's initials.Collection
