This is an undivided back postcard of the launching of the "Intrepid" from Mare Island. The card has a white space around an oval shapped black & white photo.. The publisher is shown as Mrs M. Smith Vallejo, CA. This is the same photo as the colorized card number 2017.030.0111 which is shown as published by Frank Stumm. That card is a divided back card and probably was published after this card. Frank Stumm may have used her photo and created a hand colored version of that photo.
This card is addressed to Tom Vice Jr. in Vallejo. The message is a Valentine message.Collection
