This is an undivided back postcard. The photo is of "Panorama of Benicia Arsenal and Mount Diablo". This is the Clock Tower and fields in front of it. This is the Clock Tower before the explosion. It was published by Frank J. Stumm of Benicia. Note on front reads: Dear Gertie; hope you are improving and will be able to come home soon. Love, Ruby.The back is addressed to Miss Gertrude Kiely of San Francisco, CA. The locomotive seen in the distance is a 3001 Class A-1 steam engine built by Baldwin Locomotive Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in August 1902. It was serial number 20795 and operated by the Southern Pacific Railroad. It was retired on December 31, 1924, and scrapped at West Oakland on August 21, 1926.
